About Me

Hello, My name is Muriel Pinho, I’m a Front End Developer from Brazil but have been living in Porto for 5 years.

I enjoy learning new things, solving problems, creating stuff, and also contributing to something bigger than myself. I have always been a "Why?" person and was curious about how stuff worked from very early on. Seeing the result of the hard work I put in is what drives me the most.

In my free time, I enjoy playing games, I also make a habit of always reading, Cooking is also a passion as I have always loved good food, and if I’m not doing any of those I’m probably binging some new tv show.

In my 10 months as a volunteer I greatly improved the website, by reestructuring the information and have made the pages responsive and mobile friendly. One of these changes was the addition of a Covid-19 tab with up-to-date information about the pandemic in Portugal for the Erasmus students, this addition granted ESN Porto the 1st Place award for best IT Initiative on the National Level given by ESN Portugal.
